Moore is an undrafted free agent who went through a tryout with the Carolina Panthers in the spring without landing a deal. He got another look in West Virginia and converted it.

The signing slots Moore into a crowded TE room. The Giants' active roster already carries Isaiah Likely (the clear starter), Theo Johnson, Tanner Conner, and Chris Manhertz — four tight ends, with Thomas Fidone II sitting on the Active/PUP list and unavailable to start camp.
